What does an email verification API check?
EasyEmailAPI returns email syntax, domain and MX checks, and flags for disposable providers, free providers, and plus addressing. Pro also checks SMTP responses for inbox and catch-all signals.
Can I use it to validate signup forms?
Call the API from your backend before accepting a signup. Keep your API key on the server and decide how each result should affect your form. See our signup email validation guide.
Is email verification free?
The free plan includes 5,000 checks per month at 30 requests per minute. SMTP checks and the email-list cleanup tool require Pro. Create an account for your free API key.
Does a valid result guarantee email delivery?
No. Verification provides signals about an address; it cannot guarantee delivery or inbox placement. Mail-server policies, sender reputation, and message content can affect delivery. A confirmation email is still needed to verify that a user controls an address.
Does EasyEmailAPI send emails or clean lists?
This is an email validation API, not an email-sending service. You can verify individual addresses through the API, or use the Pro email-list cleanup workflow before a campaign.
